Lilliput Premier Elementary School

Message From The Principal

Chiranjivi Timsina

Welcome to Lilliput School!

Lilliput School is a Progressive School established in the year 2066 B.S. as the first fully Montessori-implemented Preschool in Biratnagar. Later, we established two more Preschools – Lily Garden Preschool and Blooming Buds Kindergarten School – respectively, in Kanchanbari and Tintoliya to cater for the need of parents and students in these territories. And we take pride in being the only school having a chain of preschools and a Secondary School – Lilliput Premier Elementary School.

Lilliput School aims to foster Education for Values and Values for Lifetime. We at Lilliput practice collaborative and participative approaches free from all punishments to achieve better teaching-learning outcomes. Activity and Project-based pedagogy has been instrumental in our endeavour to develop confidence, interpersonal and problem-solving skills and social/ emotional intelligence.

Lilliput School, the British Council International School Award Winner School for 2020-2023, is the first and only S-T-E-A-M Model School in the Koshi Province. The STEAM Methodology is a framework where the set curriculum is integrated with modern tools and applications to help children learn different life skills needed for 21st Century citizens. It is a tested method where we attempt to present Science – Technology – Engineering in the form of Arts & Design and Mathematics. For this, we are associated with the karkhana.asia Kathmandu under a technical service agreement. We have a Makers Space and STEAM Lab for this sole purpose.

Also, Lilliput School has been working with Lawanya International Kathmandu to implement the revised curriculum in Primary Schools under their tailor-made service – CPRS.

The School has developed cordial and strong relationships with the American Corner Biratnagar and Aarohan Gurukul to help our students learn different life avenues.

Our relationship with DEPO – Disaster Education Promotion Office – a Japanese Government-associated agency working in Disaster risk reduction has also been a life-learning experience for our students.

As the Principal of Lilliput School, I welcome the students from Play Group to Class IX to the School, where they will have a different and multi-dimensional learning experience.

Warm Regards
